Our hosted PBX is currently affected by a fault stopping incoming and outgoing calls. We have logged the fault with the third party network operators and will update you as soon as the issue has been cleared.
This fault occured at approximately 08:30 this morning and was cleared at approximately 09:30 this morning. We are currently awaiting technical data in order to give a detailed response on what exactly caused this issue. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
As you may be aware, earlier today we experienced a network outage lasting around an hour. We are still to receive a full explanation from BT's 21CN IP Exchange but it appears the fault lay within one of BT's 86 "Metro-Node" Locations.
The problem was centred at either BT Tower Westblock or Bermondsey (Docklands) and involved a faulty Multiplexer which handles Data Transmissions over 10 Gigabit Links between the nodes.
We do of course offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and disruption this interruption to service may have caused, but unfortunately this problem lay with the core network and was completely beyond our control.
